Anthology Call for NH Residents Impacted by Pandemic

Does your job in New Hampshire give you a special perspective on the pandemic in the Granite State?

For the sequel to COVID Spring: Granite State Pandemic Poems, publisher Kirsty Walker and I are seeking short statements (between 150-300 words) from residents of New Hampshire whose professions have been directly involved or impacted by the pandemic.

We’re especially interested to hear from social workers, medical professionals, police and first responders, school administrators, teachers, parents, Food Bank or homeless shelter volunteers or directors, retirement home staff, addiction counselors, and grief counselors.
Tell us about a particular moment during April 2020-April 2021 that best captures your experience with the pandemic and why that moment is important to you. Accepted paragraphs will appear alongside poems in the complete book.

Send your piece in the body of an email to apeary@salemstate.edu by May 23, 2021.
